The definitionstudent culture can be heard often in relationship to life in campus. Hearing such term frequently might result in the impression that college students have a life which is dissimilar to the rest of the society. The impression is completely wrong and mainly based upon students' wish to be distinguished through having a distinct culture. In that way, students' life might relate to a few distinctive aspects, that if gathered together form what is known as students culture.

Therefore, the present article will try to list several factors that form the notion of student culture. Independence Independency is largely a relative aspect as there is no absolute independence at any period of life. In that regard, students are regarded as independent because of the relative lack of external impact at the period of life. Independence is a feature which is valued by learners, where preferences and various dependencies only start to happen.

 Freedom Freedom is closely correlated with independence, although reflects a fully different aspect. Freedom is similarly a related element, acknowledged only in comparisons. The reason for the perception of freedom is the constrained number of responsibilities that students have, mainly represented in education. Most undergraduate students do not have families of their own , when the jobsthey have are mostly part-time. So, besides studying, there are much more optionsfor college students to spend the time.

 Experimentation Experimentation, in the context, does not mean illegal activities, like substance abuse. Experimentation as a part of student culture might focus on students attempting to express themselves in various ways. They might change activities, change interests, and styles, with no having any formed preferences yet. By the end of the academic period, students' tastes might have identified form. At last, it should be said that all of the abovementioned elements might have their exceptions.
